California-based vegan fast-casual chain Veggie Grill will soon add canned wine to its menu at all 36 locations nationwide. The chain partnered with vegan wine brand Besa mi Vino to become its exclusive wine provider. Veggie Grill will offer Just Right White (a crisp and smooth white wine blend between a dry and sweet Sauvignon blanc) and All Day Rosé (a crisp and bright rosé from California). “We always felt like it was an aligned partnership as we both have a similar story to tell,” Besa mi Vino co-founder Michael Radnia told VegNews, “and COVID-19 has pushed consumers and restaurants to seek products that are conveniently enjoyed without the sharing or touching of others.”
Last month, Veggie Grill launched a new menu that included a vegan corned beef sandwich made using vegan corned beef from Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Deli, special sauce, whiskey dill sauerkraut, and vegan provolone cheese on griddled rye bread.
